I had the opportunity to try recently the Zardetto Prosecco Brut Treviso Sparkling Wine not long ago and I was certainly excited. I have not had too many “sparkling” varieties so this was sure to be fun to try.
This particular wine is made in Veneto, Italy from 100% Giera from the hills of Conegilano. Well, it does sound impressive but I have no idea where that is or what that means!
MY test for a good wine is simply a taste test and deciding if you would like another sip. Well, let me tell you… I took another and another and another sip until it was all gone!
The flavors I found have a hint of sweet strawberry with the tang of lemon. You get a bit of citrus and peach for a full and balanced drink. The bubbly makes it so nice for a hot day.
I would actually pair this wine with anything from breakfast to after dinner dessert. It is so versatile , you can drink it with so many different foods and at just $16/bottle, it is pretty reasonable.

I love sparkling wines, I will definitely be on the lookout for this!
Oh, that sounds delish! I haven’t had many sparkling wines either but I’ll have to give this one a try.
Holy crap, thanks so much for posting this! It is going to help when I get Brut Sparkling at the market! Marvelous!
